Operation and Advantages of Motorized Roller Shutters

The operation of the motorized roller shutter is very similar to that of the manual roller shutter. The tubular motor activates the rotation of the octagonal tube or ZF brand tube, which rolls or unrolls the slat connected to the tube by connectors. The driving force required therefore mainly depends on the weight of the slat.


With small and light roller shutters, manual control by strap or crank is relatively simple. However, with large roller shutters, the operation can be more delicate. The motorized roller shutter is therefore both a comfort and necessity solution depending on the weight of the slat to be driven.
